Konkuk University Academy of Mobility Humanities (Director: Dr. Shin In-seop) has achieved international recognition: Only two years after its launch, its journal Mobility Humanities has been indexed in SCOPUS, the world's largest abstract and citation database.

SCOPUS, managed by Elsevier, includes only journals that make significant scientific contributions. The National Research Foundation of Korea considers SCOPUS-indexed journals equivalent to those indexed in the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE), making it an important standard for evaluating the research performance of scholars and institutions.Mobility Humanities received high praise for its scholarly value, international impact, and expansion beyond the scope of traditional academic journals in its field in the most recent SCOPUS indexing review.

Chief Editor Shin In-seop expressed his pleasure, saying, "I am pleased that our research efforts have enhanced the reputation of our university. Mobility Humanities is a not-for-profit, OA journal publishing original articles, scholarly interviews, book reviews, and more. The journal is available on its official website and is published twice a year, in January and July. (https://journal-mobilityhumanities.com).

Since securing the Humanities Korea Plus (HK+) project in 2018, Konkuk University Academy has led the "Mobility Humanities" agenda and built an international research platform. Through policies such as designated research funds and journal publication support, Konkuk University has continuously supported the institute's growth. As a result, the Institute has established itself as a world-renowned research center that integrates the humanities, sociology, and science and technology.
